Who We Are

Brian Daly
Brian has served as the pastor of Pacific Beach Christian Church since 1994. Prior to coming to San Diego he served as the Associate Pastor at the Church of the Valley in the Van Nuys area of Los Angeles. He received his Master of Divinity degree from the Claremont School of Theology in 1991 and his B.A. in Sociology from UCLA in 1987.

Brian grew up in the Catholic Church and attended Catholic schools through high school. He began attending a Disciples of Christ congregation while in high school and was impressed with the loving, supportive and open spirit present in the congregation. He values the diversity within the Disciples of Christ and appreciates our efforts to work toward unity within the body of Christ. Brian is married with three sons and has valued living and doing ministry in the same community where he is raising a family.

About Our Congregation

We are also committed to being intentional about providing the necessary resources to develop disciples of Jesus who are committed to growing in his image. Our belief is that as we help people to grow in their faith, they will also grow in their desire to act as instruments of God's love and grace in our community and world.

We value freedom of thought and biblical interpretation recognizing that our unity is grounded in our common faith in Jesus as the Christ, not in uniformity of doctrine. Our theological diversity enriches our community of faith.
